Arsenal midfielder, Granit Xhaka, has acknowledged the “mistake” he made that gifted Tottenham a two-goal lead, in their 2-2 draw on Sunday.

The Gunners went behind early after Christian Eriksen tapped in a rebound.

Xhaka then went to ground as Heung-min Son drove into the box and took out the South Korean, with Harry Kane stepping up to dispatch the resulting penalty.

in spite of that, goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang saw Arsenal equalize.

The Swiss midfielder has now taken to his Instagram page, to send a message to the club’s fans.

“Thanks for the amazing support inside the Emirates.

“We showed a lot of character and you helped us to come back into the game. For the penalty I made a mistake says I’m of course angry about it but I will never give up!” Xhaka wrote.
