Nigeria’s Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has set up an Interim Management Committee (IMC) that will manage the affairs of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The IMC will replace the League Management Committee (LMC) which was recently declared illegal by the Sunday Dare-led ministry.

The license of the LMC was also withdrawn by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) following a directive from the ministry.
