Plateau lawmakers visit injured victims of attacks, donate cash
Plateau State House of Assembly members have paid solidarity visit to the injured victims of the Tuesday attacks who are receiving treatment in various hospitals.
Press earlier reported that bandits attacked Yelwa Zangam community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau, leading to deaths, while many were injured.
Saturday’s visit which was led by the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Abok Ayuba offered opportunity for lawmakers to donate undisclosed amount of money to the injured victims.

The Speaker who addressed those injured lamented the spate of attacks in Plateau despite effort to maintain peace at all cost.
"The House of Assembly condemns killing of people in the state in whatever guise.
"We appeal to citizens to forgive, reconcile and embrace one another in love.
￼ "We thank the management of the hospital for accepting the victims and we urge it to continue to give proper treatment to victims,” he said.
He revealed that government will pay the medical bills, saying that the situation wasn’t their fault.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the injured victims, Mr Samuel Jeje thanked the legislators and the Hospital management for agreeing to treat them without cash deposits.
Meanwhile, the administrator of the hospital, Rev. Sister Jovita Egwu has disclosed that two out of 13 injured victims brought to the hospital have died.
