
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Sunday postponed the sale of forms for Anambra governorship primary election.
The opening date of Monday, March 1, was postponed to Wednesday, March 10.
National Organising Secretary, Retired Col. Austin Akobundu, made the announcement on Sunday.
The PDP also extended the tenure of three zonal caretaker committees by 30 days.
The directive affects the South-West, North-Central and North-West committees.
“The fresh extension takes effect from March 10, being the date of the expiration of the current tenure”, Akobondu noted.
The screening of aspirants for North-East, South-East and South-South Zonal congresses is scheduled for March 2, at the zonal headquarters.
The party fixed March 1 as the last day for submission of completed forms for zonal congresses.
