The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, on Tuesday said that Nigeria's economy was coming back strongly adding that foreign investors are making commitments to invest in the country.

Adebayo spoke at the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) Diplomatic Luncheon in Abuja, NAN reports.

Adebayo said Nigeria was open for business and that the country's investment climate was continually improving.

According to him, "although 2020 was challenging for all economies, Nigeria was coming back strong.

"Investors from Europe, China, Morocco and the UK are making strong commitments.

"Also, this administration is working tirelessly to ensure that these commitments turn into projects that positively affect our nation," the minister said.

The minister further noted that the efforts the federal government was making to create an enabling environment for foreign investments placed Nigeria on the ranks of countries with ease of doing business by the World Bank.
