Deji Adeyanju, a socio-political activist, has described insecurity as a big business in Nigeria.

Adeyanju pointed out that the higher the budget allocated for security, the more insecurity Nigeria will experience.

He was reacting to the latest budgetary allocation for the Nigerian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

The Budget Office of the Federation had released figures allocated to the Nigerian Army, Navy, and Air Force.

The budgetary allocation for the security agencies started from 2015 to 2022.

Reacting, Adeyanju, in a chat with Press wrote: “The more the security budget, the more insecurity. Insecurity is big business in Nigeria.”
