Ikpeazu constitutes panel to review irregular employment of LG staff - Abia

Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has approved the constitution of a panel to review the issue of irregular employment of staff in the local government service.
The approval was disclosed in a release signed by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Barrister Chris Ezem and made available to Press on Thursday.
Sir Don Ubani, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Office of the Deputy Governor, as Chairman and Mr. Emma Nwachukwu as Secretary of the panel.
Others includes, Rev. O.P. Jonah (Member) Chief Israel C. Nwosu (Member) and Prince Okenwa E. Ichie, (Member).
In another development, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has directed that the completed Phase 2 of the Eziukwu Road be opened for use by the public immediately.
The Governor gave this directive in a release by his Chief Press Secretary, Onyebuchi Ememanka while on project inspection tour in Aba on Thursday.
According to the release, “With this directive, the portion of the road from No 1 Okigwe Road through Ama Ogbonna to No. 1 Azikiwe Road is now available for use by the public.
“This will also allow the people of Aba to fully enjoy the newly rebuilt Osusu Road as it now easily links to Eziukwu Road through Ama Ogbonna, “it added.
