The Ex-Super Eagles Assistant Coach at the USA ’94 World Cup,under Clemens Westerhof, vowed that he would repackage and make the game more attractive to fans.

“The major thing for me is to help stop the rot affecting football. I have observed that nobody is ready to come and watch Nigerian football again.

“We need a rethink to repackage football to attract fans again. In our days, by the time they want to play any big competition, by 2: pm the stadia are filled to capacity.

The Plateau General Manager further explained that, “I want us to have a situation where all those bad habits are minimised if not totally eradicated, to have better future for our youth,’’.

Bewarang stressed that the negative developments in the game, had adversely affected the development of budding grassroots talents who want to go professional.

“My concern is that we are not taking advantage of the teeming number of youth at our disposal, and if we don’t get it right, who will harness their talents.

“Will they leave this country before they go and enjoy the professionalism? No, they should enjoy it right from here”, he

further stressed

He said that the coaches currently lack the type of leadership quality they deserve.
