Gunners were ‘in talks’ with EPL manager to replace Arteta - Arsenal versus Crystal Palace

Football super agent, Jorge Mendes, is looking for a new Premier League club for Wolves’ manager, Nuno Espirito Santo and recently held talks with Arsenal, the UK Sun reports.
Santo, 46, has seen his reputation rise in recent seasons, after leading Wolves to the Premier League and into Europe.
Although he extended his contract with the club until 2023 back in September, Mendes is already looking for a new challenge for his client.
With Nuno keen to remain in England’s top flight, it is believed that Mendes was recently in talks with Arsenal, before they enjoyed a resurgence under Mikel Arteta.
LaLiga, where Nuno worked with Valencia back in 2014/2015, is also believed to be an option.
