Gunmen kill mobile policeman, steal AK-47 rifle in Delta

Gunmen have attacked and shot dead a mobile policeman in Delta State.
Press gathered that the incident occurred near the New Port Area of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA in Warri.
The attackers went away with his AK-47 rifle.
It was learnt that the deceased was escorting his friend when the gunmen struck and sniffed life out of him.
When contacted for comments, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the report in a text message sent to Our Correspondent in Warri.
The text message reads,”Yes, and that is just the story”.
