The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has apologized to Nigerian People especially road users along the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Expressway also known as the Airport Road for the electricity blackout that occurred on Wednesday night.

The FCTA gave the apology in a statement signed by the FCT Minister’s Chief Press Secretary, Anthony Ogunleye.

Ogunleye explained that the blackout was a result of faults on the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company’s (AEDC) feeder.

According to him, the FCT administration is in communication with the AEDC for a quick resolution of this problem.

He, in spite of that, assured members of the public of the commitment of the FCT administration to offer the best possible public services to all residents in Abuja.
