Paul Ibe, a Senior Special Assistant to Ex-Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has mockingly said that those disturbing President Muhammadu Buhari with the news of the sack of personal assistants to the Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo are being mischievous.

He said people taking the matter to London, where the President is currently on a private visit, should allow him enjoy his rest.

Press reported that about 35 aides attached to the Vice President were dismissed.

in spite of that, the Presidency yesterday through the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Garba Shehu, explained the reason for the sack of the VP’s aides.

The matter has generated a lot views and controversies and Paul Ibe, in a tweet on Friday night, believes that “The only people who are mischievous in the sack of Osinbajo’s aides are those who chose to make it an issue in Buhari’s absence.

“They don’t want him to enjoy his ‘private visit’ to London. By the way, how has the savings from the streamlining affected the price of rice and beans?”
